Sony showed how the updated version of the game Spider-Man will look like on the next generation PlayStation 5 console, and also delighted fans of the universe with an update of the cast.
Developers from the internal studio Insomniac Games not only improved the graphics of the original game, but also replaced the actor who plays Peter Parker. Sony claims that Ben Jordan’s face suits Peter Parker better. Now the main character has become very similar to Tom Holland, who plays a superhero in the latest Hollywood films.
Sony claims that in technical terms, the game is noticeably prettier, the developers have updated the models and textures, which can be clearly seen in close-ups. Also improved shaders for skin, eyes, teeth and hair. Of course, in Spider-Man: Remastered, they added support for ray tracing, which is especially noticeable on reflective surfaces.
Spider-Man: Remastered supports instant downloads, although legacy animations, Spatial 3D Audio technology, and DualSense controller features can be enabled.
